Please Vote

your-vote-countsWe really need to be praying for our country.

Elections have consequences.

Civil Rights, or God’s Word?

We must pray for all who are suffering and do not have God’s Word in their hearts, because until they do they cannot understand.  We must try to reach out to them with the Love of Jesus.

True Love speaks the Truth.  Jesus truly wants what’s best for all people.  His truth is always the best.

I believe that God can give us solutions that do not deny His Word, and that protect all Americans from injustice.

Please be praying every day for our country.

Please be led by the Lord when you cast your vote.

Our work for God doesn’t end with voting – it is ongoing until He takes us Home.

1 Chronicles 20:1  “It happened in the spring of the year, at the time kings go out to battle, that Joab led out the armed forces…but David stayed at Jerusalem…”

Students of the Bible know what happened through David’s laziness – Bathsheba, and all the results of their sin.

May it not be said of American Christians in 2016…

In the most important presidential election in the history of our country, as the nation was turning away from the Jesus of the Bible, as the Supreme Court teetered between a godly world view and an earthly one; the Christians were too busy with their vacations and material things and lives to worry much about it.  They figured, ‘Oh well, as long as I maintain my stuff, I don’t much care about the direction of the country, or the culture that our children and grandchildren are being indoctrinated in.  I have mine, and that’s good enough.’

Esther 4:14  “…Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Is it an accident that we are alive today, during such a time as this?

Does it matter what we do?

I think so.  Amos 7:1-6; 2 Chronicles 7:14

With His Love,
Pastor Mark Siena
